When the City of Man substitutes administrative consensus for that contention, it replaces the inherited order of free inquiry with a new clericalism that answers only to itself. Scripture and the creeds alike condemn the lie that serves power; the doctrine of justification by faith alone rests on the prior conviction that God’s truth stands independent of human approval.
The Twitter Files therefore represent more than leaked emails. They record the moment the machinery of narrative control became visible to those willing to read the internal correspondence. Taibbi’s persistence exposed the mechanism by which the managerial class converts private corporate power into public orthodoxy.
The faithful remnant must now treat such exposures as strategic intelligence rather than passing scandal. Parallel institutions of communication and record must be built and defended. Every household that still prizes the authority of the spoken and written word must withdraw consent from the platforms that enforce the new silence.
The judgment is unavoidable: those who cheered the initial purge helped construct the apparatus that now reaches for wider targets. The only remaining defense lies in open refusal to ratify the coordination and in the deliberate construction of spaces where the old liberties of speech and inquiry still operate under law and conscience.
