Poland Forges Its Own Harbor Against the Shadow of Empire

Poland has begun construction of a 10 billion zloty deepwater port and container terminal at Świnoujście, a project explicitly designed to bind Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary to its infrastructure and defense network. Deputy infrastructure minister Arkadiusz Marchewka declared the facility will serve not only Polish interests but also those eastern markets while doubling for military use.
