More than sixty thousand migrants surged from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in a single day, overwhelming every barrier the authorities had raised. European leaders watched the spectacle unfold while their own security forces stood aside or were ordered to stand down. The same men who presided over the 2015 invasion now repeat their denials even as the numbers swell beyond control.

These events repeat the pattern established after the 1648 Peace of Westphalia, when sovereign Christian nations first secured the right and duty to guard their own frontiers against foreign incursion. That settlement ended the wars of religion by affirming that peoples and princes, not abstract empires, would determine who enters their lands. The present generation of rulers has overturned that inheritance in the name of a borderless order that serves neither the household nor the nation.

The Managerial Priesthood that governs from Brussels and Berlin treats the historic peoples of Europe as obstacles rather than the rightful heirs of Christendom. They welcome the influx as demographic replacement while labeling any defense of native stock as moral failure. Their policies trace directly to the same ideological revolt against creation that denies fixed nations, fixed sexes, and fixed moral order.

Scripture records the division of mankind into nations under divine providence, and the creeds of the undivided Church presuppose ordered peoples who may lawfully preserve their inheritance. The Augustinian distinction between the City of God and the earthly city demands that earthly commonwealths maintain the concrete conditions under which families and parishes can endure. When rulers dissolve those conditions they commit an offense against both nature and grace.

The Patriarchal-Monarchist order of household and realm requires that fathers and kings first secure the inheritance for their own before extending charity to strangers. Ceuta demonstrates what happens when that hierarchy is inverted: the stranger claims the inheritance while the native is told to vacate. No amount of economic rationalization alters the fact that a people without borders ceases to be a people.

The Faithful Remnant must therefore reject every further concession to the borderless project. They must demand the immediate restoration of physical barriers, the termination of asylum abuse, and the repatriation of those who entered unlawfully. Anything less ratifies the dispossession already under way.

European nations that refuse this duty will not survive as the historic Christian peoples they once were. The choice is no longer between compassion and cruelty but between the survival of ordered Christendom and its engineered disappearance.
