CULTURE WARS: Leftist religious bigotry rejected by the Pentagon

Hate crimes are blasphemy laws by another name.

Secular humanists have successfully turned American culture generally against God.  They made themselves out to be the purveyors of liberty and tolerance.  And the contemporary Church is almost entirely to blame for allowing the secularists to define the world and society in a way that perverts God’s social order.

In reality, secular humanists are some of the worst purveyors of cultural totalitarianism and political statism.  They cloak their moral relativism in shrouds of libertine living and tolerance.  But they are cultural Marxists.  It isn’t about “live and let live.”  They want to outlaw the Moral Law of God and criminalize Christianity and the Christian organizations that adhere to Natural Law, as defined by the Christian Scriptures.  Hate laws are about criminalizing the thoughts that secular humanists loathe with intense bigotry.

A Small Win, but Not a Total Victory

The creator and purveyor of a bigotry list is the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).  The entire legacy media of entertainment and news uses their “hate map” to identify and target who they deem to be “hate groups.”  What they do is define what everyone universally believes are hate groups like neo-Nazi’s and the KKK, and then uses a false moral equivalency to link Christian groups with them.  And they have recruited egalitarian, social gospel warrior pastors and churches to accept their false premises in order to control the narrative against Christianity.

The SPLC’s cultural Marxism has consistently indoctrinated even the government, including the military.  The Obama Administration was the worst purveyor of secular humanism’s hate and bigotry against Christianity.  President Obama used the U.S. military as his personal social engineering experiment.  However, there is some good news, according to Life Site News, President Trump’s Pentagon has rescinded the use of the SPLC and their “hate map” of religious bigotry from training resources.

Although this is absolutely a “Good Trump” decision worthy of praise, the culture wars aren’t over.  So long as the world is still perverted by Original Sin, and Christ’s redeeming love through the expansion of His Kingdom and Gospel isn’t yet finished, we are still fighting a long war.  And executive decisions like this can be reinstated by a new secular humanist president.  Our focus must be on reforming culture back to proper, biblical definitions of reality and social institutions.

Secular Regressivism vs. Biblical Progressivism

The SPLC and the cultural Marxists are postulating a regressive society built on the sinful, totally depraved whims of man apart from God.  The Church must stand courageously on the true progressive truth of God’s Moral Law.  We have to fight the culture wars as if we have already won and Christ is King and sitting on His throne.

Defending the public faith of Christianity and its biblical beliefs concerning the public square and the social order means defending Christianity’s social institution of the nuclear family.  Defining the nuclear family and the social, public institution of marriage is paramount to repudiating true hate and bigotry.  Culturally preaching against the sexual perversions of God’s Moral Law, while celebrating the beauty and joy of biblical marriage, is the true progressive evangelization and discipleship of the culture and the key to defending human life.

And don’t forgot about marching for marriage in Washington, D.C. with the National Organization for Marriage.
