We believe the Bible is the inspired and written Word of God, and without error and contradictions in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the eternal revelation of God’s Truth and is infallible, authoritative, and trustworthy in all matters of faith and life. Any deviation from the Authority of Scripture is a deviation from God’s original natural order.
THE TRIUNE GOD
We believe God is who He has always been from the beginning. God is the only unchanging Supreme Authority over all existence, all places, and all time. We believe in the Holy Trinity, the Triune God. There is only one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and the Savior of the world and His Church. Jesus Christ’s particular redemption through His perfect life, sacrificial and propitiatory death, and resurrection atoned for the sins of all who will believe in Him, alone, for salvation. Jesus is the exalted Lord, seated at the right hand of God the Father and preparing a holy place for His Church.
We believe that because of Original Sin all are sinners and totally depraved. All are sinners, fallen short of God’s glory, and are unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy and perfect will. Original Sin has corrupted mankind and has made us prone to the desires of our sinful heart and nature, and in his flesh, man will never desire to choose God on his own, much less follow God’s good and perfect Law.
We believe that the Gospel is that salvation, justification, and sanctification are by Grace alone through Faith alone in Christ’s righteousness alone. Continuously and fervently praying and asking God to save the lost, and proclaiming the Gospel to the ends of the earth is the process God invites His Church to be a part of, in order to bring about His Sovereign Grace and particular redemption.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people. The indwelling and regenerating power of the Spirit gives Believers the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow all that He has commanded. We believe that the spiritual gifts continue to this day to empower God’s people to bring about His Sovereign Grace and particular redemption.
We believe in the fellowship and communion of Believers, the chosen race, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. All aspects of our Christian lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ together in One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism. The Church’s mission is to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and make disciples in every nation, and preach the Truth in love and all that our Lord has commanded, and build up the body of Christ.
The Grace of God that is common to all humanity. We believe in Common Grace because the whole human race was made in the Image of God without distinction between one person and another, believers or unbelievers; therefore, all experience its benefits. In the Reformed tradition, we believe this is Grace because it is undeserved and sovereignly conferred by God. However, we distinguish Common Grace from Saving Grace, which is only effectual to those whom God has chosen to redeem.
God has commanded mankind to take dominion over His creation to bring Him honor and glory. We believe that God created man to worship and serve Him in all things. God’s Sovereign Grace has called Believers to live a life that is in this world, but not of this world, unto God according to the Bible. We believe we have been called to make disciples among all the nations of the earth by preaching, teaching, and sharing the whole counsel of God. It is our duty, as Believers, to apply God’s Authoritative Word and Law to every area of life, including civil society and government. We are called to bring all things under the Authority of Jesus Christ to seek the restoration of our culture by the whole counsel of God, through the proclamation of the Gospel and individual regeneration by the Sovereign Grace of God.
We believe in the Final Restoration of culture and creation with the personal, visibly and bodily, return of Jesus Christ at the consummation of Redemptive history. The dead, consisting of believers and non-believers, shall be raised up in final judgment. Those who are saved shall be raised up unto everlasting life and those who have rejected Christ unto eternal damnation. Christians will have final, complete, and true dominion over creation under God’s Authority and Law through the propagation and proclamation of the Gospel and individual regeneration by the Grace of God over every area of life.
